IVE BEEN USING TRUPHONE FOR OVER FIVE YEARS, AND HAVE PLACED CALLS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES TO U.S. AND FROM U.S. TO OTHER COUNTRIES WITH A CRYSTAL CLEAR CONNECTION. IVE ALSO CALLED FROM OUTSIDE THE U.S. TO ANOTHER FOREIGN COUNTRY AND THE VOICE QUALITY IS IMPRESSIVE! I WOULD NOT USE ANY OTHER APP OUT THERE BECAUSE IVE TRIED THEM ALL AND TRUPHONE BY FAR IS SIMPLY THE BEST!

I’ve been using Truphone for years now. I often am overseas and I am able to call home and talk with my friends and family for pennies!!! I purchase the unlimited minutes for less than $15 and I am able to call everyone and talk without even worrying about minutes. I Love It!!!

Not sure why more people do not know about this great app. When I have a WIFI available, this app lets me make phone calls to anywhere, land or mobile. It works great, most of the time. And it costs just pennies per minute. They have taken care in creating this app. Even the ring tones are unique and interesting. The automatic topup also works great. No hassle. Within this app is a service where you can make calls using your phone network. This sometimes works and sometimes not. It might be something to do with the local phone network. WIFI is very stable and enjoyable with good clarity.

I call from the US to Aussie all the time on truphone. Cant beat the price or quality.

The TruPhone app, which is available for multiple platforms and mobile OSes is by far the most polished, stable and best performing I have seen. This company also offers a SIM product that offers unique features well suited to people who travel extensively or are away from home for travel, school or business. Support is excellent and the company is growing in size and reputation. Give it a try.

have personally used and looked at many voip apps. this is one of the best. the design on this app is very nice looking and not annoying like some other voip apps. and the icon for this app has a nice basic phone icon to put on your homescreen - the icon is not annoying. (icons for a bunch of the other voip apps are very annoying looking.) for me, if the voip app looks annoying then it gets deleted. the voip apps on my iphone that stay on my iphone are now truphone and skype. also have google voice, but thats more of a cellular forwarding service (unless if you want include the annoying google hangouts). anyways, the calls via truphone are pretty good sounding. and the calls cost are a penny a minute if you are in the usa. very nice. not sure about the texting but if you are like me, then you are probably using whatsapp for texting.

Ive left less than 5 reviews ever, and this is one.. Had to do it when I only saw 14 so far.. Ive used this app for years, during military deployments, and lots of overseas travel.. Great rates and can set up different accounts for different sims (countries)... Awesome app!

I love this app and they do a good job. I use it to make international calls back home. At first I would use Skype but the quality was not so good and the payment system would sometimes get my order wrong and incorrectly charge me. I have not experienced any issues with TruPhone and will continue using this app as long as they keep up the good job.

Simply the best for phone usage clear as a bell!!

I do make a lot of business and personal phone calls i save money calling the states and china but some countries like Dubai (UAE) is expensive i hope the work on that. The app is great phone calls are crystal clear, Im giving it a 5 stars.

I have the T-Mobile $30, 100 min plan. I use another VoIP provider for most calls to prevent overages of 10c/min. However, Ive found those solutions to be hit/miss in quality. If Im calling a family member, I dont really care. If Im making an important call, I use the Truphone app. I loaded $5 of credit into the app the day I got it. At 1c/min for most people I call, Truphone provides a significant savings over the price Id pay for overages via the carrier, and the call quality is always top-notch. The app also provides a way to text other Truphone users, but Ive not used that before. Great money saver/way to make additional calls for less.

This app saves me a lot of time and money, I used to go to stores to buy those scratch phone cards that dont work well and cost me a lot of money, now I am better with this great app
